Bollywood, here we come!

Maria has booked a role in the new Bollywood film ENGLISH, VINGLISH. The movie follows an Indian woman who comes to New York City. Maria will be playing a classic New York City receptionist and will be shooting in NYC in October. The film is directed by Gauri Shinde and the cast include Sridevi, a Bollywood star returning to the screen after a fourteen year hiatus to raise her family.

Maria performs in John Chatteron Short Play Festival

This past weekend, Maria performed in the John Chatterton short play festival at the great Roy Arias Theatres in midtown Manhattan. 

The two-woman play, Transferrence by Any Other Name, was a comedy hit! The play, which featured commentary on our love affairs with pop culture, was written by Gwen Baer and featured co-star Mary Jo McBride.

Catch Maria in the new webseries, The RAs, playing the role of Bo Bundt, Vice President of "The Questioning Club". The RAs makes its world premiere on Thursday, September 1st at Cinema Village in New York City.
