Catch Maria playing a concerned wife, Andrea, on the next episode of MONSTERS INSIDE ME, airing Friday night at 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM on Animal Planet. 

The episode features the story of Jake and Andrea, a young couple vacationing in Florida. Jake's eye gives him trouble and together they discover there's a problem! This episode co-stars Joshua Schubart as Jake. 

New Ep of Pzazz 101 and Backstage feature story!

Maria is a recurring performer on Pzazz 101, as well as one of the series' executive producers.

Theatrical Trailer for English Vinglish Released!

The theatrical trailer for English Vinglish has been released! The film will premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival. Maria plays the role of Jennifer, the receptionist at the Learn To Speak English school. Check out the trailer below!

English Vinglish selected as Gala Premiere for 2012 Toronto International Film Festival

Maria's feature film debut, English Vinglish, has been selected as a Gala Premiere for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival!

English Vinglish is the funny and touching story of an Indian woman named Shashi who struggles to learn English in order to help provide for her family. 

The film was shot on location in New York City in 2011 and stars legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi, returning to the screen after a 15-year absence. The film was written and directed by Gauri Shinde. 

Maria plays the role of Jennifer, the fast-talking receptionist at the Learn-To-Speak-English school where Shashi takes classes.

Welcome to the Hotel Pennsylvania!

Last week Maria was on set of the upcoming short film Hotel Pennsylvania, directed by Marc Wilkins. The cast included Icelandic actor Darri Ingolfsson. Maria played the supporting role of Casey, the receptionist at the language school.

The film is based on the short story We Learn English By Talking To Each Other by Arnon Grünberg.

The movie filmed all over New York City including at the iconic Hotel Pennsylvania on Seventh Avenue near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.

THIS JUST IN: The Pilot Officially Released

Check out the pilot episode of THIS JUST IN starring Maria, Lenny Wolpe, Neal Bledsoe, Jenn Lyon, Chris J Handley, Halle Morse, Hana Moon, Jake Paque, Danielle Gaines and Jack Garrity. 

The Pilot: Channel 4, a small town news station, is losing ratings and money, and just lost its longtime morning co-anchor, Carol Arnold, who was purportedly poisoned by the food at Golden Happy Palace. The station owner (and father of the incompetent weatherman) has hired Brenda Howard to replace Carol without telling anyone, and she's here for her first day of work. The other anchor is threatened. The field reporter is in love. The makeup artist is confused. The executive producer is fuming. The weatherman just messed up another forecast. And, as quick as  an ice cream headache, the rival anchors roll in to laugh in their faces. Can this merry band of misfits get it together by 5am for tomorrow's newscast?

In addition to starring in the pilot, Maria also co-wrote the script and served as co-executive producer. 

Army Wives Season 6 Premieres March 4th!

It's official! The new season of Army Wives will premiere on March 4th, 2012! Maria will first appear in the fifth episode of the season, "True Colors", so keep an eye on the TV listings!
